Keeping Up with Team Tiger: Summer 2017 Edition

Summer is starting to wind down and it has been a busy few months for Team Tiger. The time sure has flown by and we have accomplished quite a bit. So, we wanted to take a moment and share with you, what our Team has been up to.

Team Tiger Summer 2017

August 2017:

-We had one of our famous potlucks on August 24th. Last summer we had a Disney themed potluck, so we went with a Universal theme this time. Participants could dress up and bring dishes that related in any way with a Universal movie, character or something in one of their parks. Once again, Team Tiger showed their creativeness with this challenge. 

-On August 23rd, we hosted a booth at the C3 Back-to-School Event. We handed out school supplies and reusable Tiger Shopping Bags, while visitors to our booth played Ring Around the Plunger and got to spin the Wheel-of-Tiger.  

-Team Tig2017 Solar Eclipse er had a lot of fun with the Solar Eclipse that occurred on August 21st. First, the week before the eclipse we hosted a fun Facebook Contest, raffling off an Eclipse Snack Basket. This basket was overflowing with snacks and treats named after items in our solar system.

Then when the big event finally started, our team took turns passing around safety glasses to watch the Eclipse come and go. 

-On August 16th, Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Services received a major honor, when we made the Inc. 5000 List of the Fastest Growing Companies in America. This was the first time we made this list and we want to thank our hard working team and all of our Valued Customers for making this honor possible!

July 2017:

-July 28th marked the Edwardsville Chamber Golf Tournament second year in a row that Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Services sponsored the Edwardsville/Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce annual golf tournament. We also had two teams compete in this year’s tournament!

-In July we were named as the 2017 People’s Choice #1 Plumbing Company in the People’s Choice of Southwest Illinois contest.  We want to thank everyone who voted for us, we are extremely honored by this award.

With this award, we also attended the party that the St. Louis Post Dispatch put on to honor those who won. We had a booth at this event and handed out lots of Tiger swag!

-We are major animal lovers here at Tiger and we proudly support the mission of our friends at Partners 4 Pets. On July 21st, we made a donation to help them buy a new van so they could continue saving more animals.

-On July 13th we attended the RecruitMilitary Veteran’s job fair. We will be attending this event again in November and we are looking forward to meeting everyone!

June 2017:Top Workplaces in St. Louis 2017

-In June we were once again named as a Top Workplace in the St. Louis area. This is the second year in a row that we have made this list! In addition to earning this high honor, this year we were also named as one of the Best Places to Work in the state of Illinois for the second year in a row! 

-We love the Cardinals here at Tiger Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical Services, so we decided it would be fun to send someone in our service area to a Cards game. Towards the end of June and the beginning of July, we ran a Facebook Contest, where we raffled off two tickets to July 8ths game. 

-Our techs have been working hard all year. That is why on June 22nd, we honored our amazing HVAC technicians by celebrating National HVAC Tech Day!

-We sponsor four Relay for Life Events a year and this year all four of these events fell in June. In addition to sponsoring these walks, we also had a team participate at the event in Edwardsville on Friday, June 2nd. 


Team Tiger has certainly had a full and rewarding summer and we are excited to see what the fall has in store for us!
